Pregnancy Help provides free lab-quality, high-sensitivity urine pregnancy tests that are 99% accurate. Results will be available during your appointment and you will have the opportunity to speak with one of our nurses about your results. Free Limited Obstetrical Ultrasound
(if you meet necessary criteria)A limited ultrasound takes a look inside the uterus in order to:
- Confirm that you are pregnant
- Determine the location of the pregnancy (pregnancies developing outside the uterus, called ectopic pregnancies, may be life threatening)
- Determine roughly how far along you are into the pregnancy
- Detect fetal heartbeat
Options Guidance and Support
If the pregnancy test is positive you may feel pressure to make a quick decision in order to get on with your life. We encourage you to take time to make this difficult and life altering decision. The nurses and case workers at Pregnancy Help work with women facing choices like yours. We can give you helpful information about abortion, parenting, or adoption.
Supportive Services and Referrals
Our staff of bilingual nurses and caseworkers is specially trained to help you on an individual basis at this stressful time. Whether your concerns are about health insurance, housing, maternity leave, material assistance or how this pregnancy will impact your career or educational goals, Pregnancy Help offers ongoing support from your initial office visit. Our years of successful experience in networking with other community agencies and social service organizations can be put to work for you.
